Should you encounter a symptom of "No Touchscreen Response" on your Infinity, measure the resistance between pins 4 and 5 of the connector. Resistance values of 300 to 2000 megohms indicate the cable assembly is not the cause. Resistance values of 1 to 100 ohms indicate the cable and screen combination need to be replaced.

Following this procedure will eliminate pulling the controller only to discover the problem still exists.
